A new community! Well, sort of.

yadyThis community is a sister/backup community to the community of the same name on LiveJournal.
The purpose of this community is not to replace the LiveJournal version, but rather to 1. have an easily accessible backup and 2. provide an alternative for those who use DreamWidth exclusively.
For both ethical reasons (it would seem Bad and Wrong to me to copy entries without consent) and technical ones (I don't think a community import option exists, and for the reason I mentioned before, I would worry if there turned out to be one) we don't plan on doing an automated mass import to DreamWidth of entries in this community. However, I would like to have as much content as possible mirrored. Because of this, I would like to ask the following:
Furthermore, I intend to post any future entries I make to both communities, and would like to invite everyone on here to do the same. If, again, you can't or do not want to copy an entry you made on LiveJournal yourself, but do want it to appear here, let me know, and I will copy it.

- If you want your entries copied and have an account at DreamWidth, you may copy your own posts there
- If you want your entries copied, but have no DreamWidth account, don't want your DreamWidth account associated with your LiveJournal one, or simply CBA, let me know and I will copy them for you. In doing so, I will include a link to the original post on LiveJournal unless you explicitly ask me not to.
- If you don't want your entries copied, please let me know as well. I do not intend to copy anything without permission, but if you explicitly tell me not to, I will make sure.
